As I leave the broadcaster client that I'm working for at the moment, the satellites beam a continuous stream of news, sport, entertainment and drama to an audience that spans Africa, parts of the Middle East, the Sub-Continent and into the Far East. In fact, the satellite footprint casts a bit of a shadow over Western Australia, so technically speaking, with a satellite dish and decoder, you could be reading the Perth Daily newspaper, whilst listening to Naas Botha rounding up the weekend's games on Boots & All.
