Dropped my car off at Audi this morning for its 105,oookm service. Had a look around their showroom, and stumbled (...drooled...) over the new TT. One word - nice. No, make that three words - Very very nice.

The painting continues. Its close on three months now since the guys started painting our complex - and whilst they're onto the second coat, there is still a way to go.

Productive Weekend

Its been a relatively productive weekend for K and I. Started off on Saturday morning - we decided that it was time to get the curtains in our bedroom cleaned. Took us next to no time to get them off the rails, but then about 2 hours to clean up all the dust that had accumulated behind our bed (tip for future - try not to keep you bed right up against a window, because give it a year or so with the windows open all the time, and you'll have a dust mound that'll take...ooohh...about 2 hours to clean up).
With that out the way, we cleaned the woolen rug in our passage, replanted a pot-plant upstairs, re-potted our orchid (which is slowly dying), and repacked all our cupboards with the towels and winter clothing that we've been storing whilst K's folks were with us. Everything seems to be back in its place now.

It was also quite an exciting week for my cousin Karen and husband Chris - they gave birth to their third son, Andrew James on Thursday. Way to go cousin...keeping the grandchild attention off K and I for the time being is much appreciated.

Was asked to take some pictures of my folks' garden today whilst there for lunch - this is one of them.

Went out for dinner with Frank, Claire, Jo and Rich (pictured here) on Sat night. Went to a place in Parkhurst called Batuke. Good food.
