Noodle with Google Sketchup
Came across a link to Google's new 3D sketching tool, called Sketchup. Its a free software tool that allows you to build and modify 3D models quickly and easily. I was pretty impressed - not that I know too much about 3D modeling software, but I built this 3D model of the wine cabinet that we have in our lounge, in about 45 minutes.Thursday, January 11, 2007

This is my second shot on the first hole at Obs. Pretty tough bunker shot seeing as its lying up against the edge. Anyway, I put it within 30 cm of the cup, and then missed the putt :-(

The waterfall at Tsitsikamma National Park. This trail forms the start of the Otter trail and starts from the camping ground at Tsitsikamma, and winds its way along the coast for about 3km. Breath taking scenery.

The view from atop the Schindler Spitze peak. At 2660m, this is the second highest point accessible by lift in the Arlberg region. The next highest point is Valluga at 2811. Seeing as there is no piste from Valluga, and that you have to find your own way onto piste, we decided that this was the highest we would go...this time.POTD: 28 Dec 2006

Home Again...
Arrived back home this morning from PE, and a week down on the Garden Route. Its been a tiring 2 and a half weeks for K and I, and we're happy to see our home, and our own beds again. I'll be posting pictures from both trips within the next day or so, as well as selected POTD pictures. Right now though, its time to catch up on some well deserved sleep - seeing as the journey back from PE saw us getting up at 4:30am this morning to make the early flight home. Aaaahhhh....home....bed....sleep!
